With a surprise being pregnant, an engagement and loads of Oscar buzz for her performance in "Black Swan," all eyes are on Natalie Portman. But if the actress might go unrecognized for simply one day, she knows precisely how she'd spend it.
"I might make out within the park!" Portman tells February's InStyle journal, on sale January 14. "That is the thing I would most get pleasure from doing in New York, and it's something I am going to by no means do."
And that's not all.
"I would even have loud, public conversations with my pals about private things. Even when no one is paying attention - and most of the time, no one cares - you never know who is on the subsequent table."
In December, Portman introduced that she and French-born dancer Benjamin Millipied, her "Black Swan" choreographer, were not solely getting married but also anticipating a baby. Clearly 33-yr-outdated Millipied possesses all the pieces she needs in a partner.
"I look for all the identical issues I would in a buddy," she tells InStyle of the qualities she desires in a mate. "Obviously, you want the attraction too, so it is like your greatest friend who you are also really attracted to."
Portman explores that subject additional in "No Strings Connected," a romantic comedy by which she and Ashton Kutcher play buddies with benefits.
“I certainly have mates who might cope with that and others who could not,” she says. “It’s one thing I’ve seen in excessive-reaching women - they compartmentalize. You’ve bought your work, your mates, your train, You may tick off those boxes.”
"No Strings Hooked up" arrives in theaters January 21.
